Li’l Woolies

This is one of Miss Martha’s past block-of-the-month (BOM) offerings by The Wooden Bear . We used wool felt as opposed to wool so our version is be very budget friendly. With wool felt, no preparation is needed. Just trace, cut, and stitch.

While you can stitch these cuties by machine, it really is easier to do by hand since the pieces are rather small. Stitching by hand makes this BOM the perfect take along project. BOM-Lil Woolies

You can also collect all 12 months and make a small wall-hanging with three blocks across and four blocks down. Use elements from each of the projects as applique pieces around an outside border. Or, you can put three blocks in a column and hang them as a seasonal decoration, i.e. December, January, February would be for winter. March, April, and May would be for spring, etc.
